ABOUT US Since 1901, we have been one of the leading law firms in Northeast Indiana.

What should you look for when choosing a law firm?

For starters, you need a firm with experienced attorneys dedicated to providing the very highest level of legal representation—attorneys who are professionals in every sense of the word. You also need a stable firm, one that has proven itself over time and will be there for you and your family for many years to come. Finally, you need a firm committed to a service-first approach. That is, a firm willing to take the time to get to know you personally. One that treats you with the courtesy and respect you deserve, returns your calls promptly, and considers answering your questions and addressing your concerns a privilege, not a chore.

OUR MISSION IS SIMPLE

Our mission is to provide our clients with the highest quality general-practice legal services in a timely and efficient manner through the combined efforts of attorneys concentrating in various areas of law.

Our firm traces its roots back to 1901 with the founding of Kennerk & Somers. 1984 saw the merger of Dumas Backs Salin & Vegeler (originally Kennerk & Somers) with Adair Perry Beers Mallers & Larmore, leading to the creation of Beers Mallers Backs & Salin, LLP. Our firm has more than doubled in size since then, a testament to the results we achieve for our clients and the level of service we provide.

Our clients range from individuals and families to Fortune 500 companies. We handle all legal matters that impact our clients’ business, personal and professional lives. This includes business and corporate law, real estate and land use, employment law, elder law, Medicaid planning, estate planning and administration, litigation, and municipal law. The majority of our clients are located in Northeast Indiana.

Today, Beers Mallers consists of 19 attorneys and 26 staff members and administration, 48 of whom work in our Fort Wayne office. Adam Henry is the Managing Partner of the firm and is joined by Heidi Adair and Kurt Bachman as members of the Executive Committee. Also, Bill Fishering has been the Allen County attorney since the mid-1970s, and Kurt Bachman has served as the attorney for the LaGrange County Commissioners, the Towns of Shipshewana, and Fremont, and manages our LaGrange office. Dan Leininger serves as partner and manager of our Warsaw office.

DRIVEN BY A COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE, FAMILY AND COMMUNITY

King Solomon, a man renowned for his wisdom, once said: “A good name is to be valued more than good wealth.” At Beers Mallers we couldn’t agree more. We value the reputation we have earned over the years; and work tirelessly to preserve and build upon it each and every day.

All of our attorneys and staff are encouraged to grow professionally while maintaining a balanced personal and family life. We have established and maintained a family-oriented environment and are committed to our loved ones, churches, synagogues, and community. In addition, we have a long-standing tradition in the political arena. Several of our attorneys have been active in politics, and our firm has been the legal home of a former U. S. Congressman and a former U. S. Ambassador.

Our law firm family welcomes the opportunity to utilize our energy, mastery of the law and commitment to serving our clients on behalf of you and your family.
